City Sidewalks, Busy Sidewalks, Dressed in Holiday Style

......In the air there's a feeling of Christmas :)
Children laughing,
People passing,
meeting smile after smile.

And on every street corner you'll hear....
Silver Bells, Silver Bells....
It's Christmas time in the city.
Ring-a-ling....
Hear them ring?
Soon it will be Christmas Day! :)

We have been in the Christmas spirit at the Garlich house besides my poor husband having knee surgery this past week. He is doing MUCH better, though...PTL! :)
I'll leave you with a funny little story :)

For those of you who don't know, my husband is the Asset Protection manager at Target....he was the closing manager this past Friday night and has a lot to do in order to close down the store. One of those things is making sure every "team member" is out of the building before he closes everything down. He says that they always announce over the loud speaker a bunch of times to come to the front & that it is time to leave. He had one last call and asked several other red shirted peeps if there was anyone else left and they all said no. So, the next morning we are enjoying our breakfast and he gets a text from the opening manager that ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES WAS LEFT IN THE BUILDING! And Matt just laughs....I was like, oh my gosh! But this man apparently isn't quite all there and didn't even call anyone....he just stayed there all night and then nonchalantly tells the people in the morning that he got left. Crazy.....and thankfully Matt wasn't in trouble because he followed their protocol. I totally thought of that movie with Natalie Portman where she lives in Wal-Mart! :)

Well I hope everyone has a great Sunday afternoon! I am excited because our Fellowship Group Christmas Party is tonight! :) So long!
