Slacker to the Max

Mattypookins & I at Fort Yargo State Park here in ATL.

I make no excuses for not posting like I said I would. Lies, lies, I tell you! Just waiting until I actually had something to share I guess. :) And there are a couple updates but I don't want to post them just yet. Sorry! :)

Life is beginning to feel less like a vacation and more real here. God has been so faithful in putting the pieces together for us here and we are so grateful. Matt and I have been praying for some really hard & tough things that have been going on with family & friends it makes praying for things like finding a job and buying a house seem so trivial.

But I was talking to my sister today and as I said the above statement, I realized that God wants us to come to Him with everything. The little. The big. The hard. The deep. The seemingly trivial. The sad. The happy. He wants us to involve Him in our lives so we can experience true joy & fullfillment. He already knows everything that is going on but recieves SUCH glory when we bring things to Him.

Thank you, God, for loving us and caring for every tiny aspect of our lives.

So, I really don't have that much to share right now and I don't have more pictures. But we're enjoying life and soaking up all that God has for us in this new phase of our lives.

Have a great weekend guys! :)

We're Here!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately.

Between wonderful sweet goodbye dinners, training my replacement at work (who also happens to be my dear friend), packing, and uprooting our whole lives....we have been busy beavers to put it lightly.

It was definitely bittersweet saying goodbye to such an incredible family of believers & our dear friends that we made in Tallahassee. We were blessed with people who came along side of us and loved & cared for us. We truly felt their outpouring of love in how we left Tallahassee. Thank you to all of you who invited us over for dinner, helped us clean (Ash you get a special shout out :)), and prayed for us.

Matt and I love you so much and we will not forget our first home city! :)

And we'll be back for an awesome football season come September...GO NOLES!

I can say, though, that in every way the Lord has affirmed this next step in our lives. We are in such a fun, wonderful & new season of life! :) I have a wonderful husband who loves me and shows it on a daily basis. I serve a great God who is paving the way for us and already has our lives planned out. Life is good but more importantly GOD is good.

I'll try to update you on our house hunt that is coming along quite nicely.

:)
